Quote from All About Eve (1950).

A masterclass in filmmaking: All About Eve comprises of magic pockets -moments on celluloid – that are always relevant irrespective of the viewer’s contemporary time, and deviously funny. Drawing all the juice it can from a fiercely intelligent script, the film features some of the finest performances, direction and writing of 1950s Hollywood.

The quote selected above is just one of the many sharp, jagged character lines, but it is my favorite for personal reasons. I do not recall the number of times I’ve said the same thing to people who find themselves in the unfortunate circumstance of being near me.
